So i am back in my 3rd incarnation.
I had to replace my brand-new for Xmas tablet because of about 30+ cracks in the screen, apparently caused by a slightly too snug cover/stand, according to the Geek Squad, but of course i had to pay.
Anyway, every other app transferred right over, except this one.
It would not recognize me under either my original or latest account, or acknowledge my info saved on Google.
And when you ask for an email to reset your password, (it offers you that), you get....NOTHING but crickets.
Jeebus H, what fun!!!!!
So anyway, back at the bottom, starting all over.

Have you tried reaching out to this email address?
agnostic.com@gmail.com
In less than a day someone got back to my email.

I asked @glennlab to sent a message to Admin when i coudn't get in, before I caved and set up my newbie account with yet another email Addy I never needed...I do not know what he tried.
i also messaged Admin from the original tablet, ( which still gos right to here) twice.
Over 2 days I tried a Change Password request on both the "old" cracked tablet and this new one.
Today I tried using the still-connected old tablet to try to again change my password. No sirree.
And crickets on all the messages to Admin...it has now been 3 days, Business Days, on 2 sets.
No Mas!!!!!!

@annewimsy500 Maybe Glenn will share here what email address he had used to get ahold of Admin.

As for the Agnostic app being the only app that didn't transfer over to your new device, I'm thinking that could be due to the fact the Agnostic.com app for Android has not been updated in years, and may no longer be compatible with newer model devices. That happened to me, as the app no longer shows up in Google Playstore, had to fall back on my apk backup file copy of the app in order to install it. Try downloading the app from a site like Aptoide or APKpure, that should work.

On a side note, if you ever need more of and or disposable "burner" email addresses, I would recommend this app, been using it for years now. Burner emails are useful if you sign up for something online and yet don't want to supply your regular email address(s).-

@annewimsy500 Surely.

I'm always sad to see when somebody can't transfer their old accounts over because of a broken device.

Good to have you back, so sorry you have to start over. 😟

Well that surely sucks - both the cracks and starting over - but welcome back again.

This time put all your info on a USB drive so when you have problems like this you have all your login credentials in text form on the drive so you can get back into your accounts.

I got back into Every account (in excess of 50!!!!) except this one when I used Smart Save +/or my saved passwords on Google.
Not one other app refused to recognize either my manually entered or Google-registered password like this one did.
I even tried old passwords....it was bizarre.
Very frustrating!!!!!!

@annewimsy500 Just saying that is what I do so when I have a computer problem (often after about 10 years) I have a manual back up and have never had the issue you had...

Wow!!! Good to have you back!
