So glad to have never had to deal with this particular problem. Ants are an big enough problem.

Last year I stayed at a motel that was infested. Overnight I developed 30 very itchy bites. My vacation was ruined and I demanded my money back. I also wrote letters to the County health department and a notice on Yelp.

I've been lucky so far not to have experienced bed bugs. Good idea about the hot wash or freezing the affected items if an outbreak does occur. I've recently purchased a new vacuum that is really good, and I'm eager to vacuum under my bed, since it's been at least year since I have done that.

One reason I love my tiny RV, for sure.
