Sometimes the idea of all things are fair in love and war applies and then the process part shows the true nature. I once saw a video of a Moslem being asked a question about how to stop violence in the world. He said if the whole world would convert to the Muslim religion there would peace. Problem is some of the most violence is being committed between Sunni and Shia Moslems.
