Morning everyone! I've been thinking about Amazon Prime lately, and I have to say, it's not for me. Sure, some folks love the convenience of faster shipping and streaming services, but for me, it just doesn't add up. I recently placed an order on Monday, and here it is Thursday, still not shipped. Maybe it's because I'm not a Prime member, but honestly, I'm not willing to pay extra just to jump the line. I prefer to wait it out. Plus, I'm not a TV watcher, so the streaming service doesn't tempt me either. I get that Prime works for some people, but for those of us who don't need it, why shell out the extra cash?

I am so glad Amazon has things I can no longer find in stores, even Walmart. Having a dog, i like to have either styptic powder (or stick) on hand for torn toenails.
I went to 3 pharmacies and nada, "we no longer carry that"
I am a Prime Member and sometimes things take longer for me too...it depends on where it is coming from, not your member status...the styptic powder took over 2 weeks to arrive but I am just grateful know have it!

I stopped using Amazon And gone over to Ebay because Amazon forces you to use prime and charge you for it whether you want it or not. Starts with a free trial on your first order, then you are charged monthly after that, even after I cancelled prime after the first month. I live in a rural area, TV and movies are of no interest to me. I am still waiting on my last order where they informed me that the order has landed in Australia and is bound for their warehouse 10 km away. this took 10 days . I live 648 km away .. How long will I have to wait on my (sic)" free" prime trial???

Movies can be downloaded easily through Lime torrents.

We have prime and find it worth it because we buy quite a bit through Amazon and save on the shipping. Their movie streaming service isn't great so it's not really the incentive they claim. Everything worth watching they want to rent, and we never do that! So it's really a bait and switch service to me.
