Odd is it not how the protagonists of this story are a French Canadian couple named
Arend and Anneesa Feenstra
with only slight anagramatical tweeking their names becomes
a d'Année sans a Fenêtre "A year of no windows"
or in more colloquial and all together more sinister translation
"One year, then without a window"
when of course as in English "Without" can have two meanings, Lacking or Outside of
