Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Book banning absolutely infuriates me and in 99.999999% of the time its completely and utterly unjustified. It's almost always based on bigotry, hatred, ignorance, or fake religious outrage.
And conservatives say its about "protecting the children". I'd much rather kids read a book that has profanity or sexual material in it than have them endure active shooter drills or see/hear news of yet another school shooting. Books don't kill children.
