Wouldn't it be cool if I used my skills to assist you in return for you using your skills to assist me? That's called the barter system. What we have now is capitalism. The big difference between the two is in the barter system, the transactions are between individuals. In the capitalist system, we work for the system, and profits are given to the top 0.01%.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.In my system I needed a new burn barrel for my yard. After about 2 years the metal barrels become useless. I have a neighbor a couple of blocks away that sells used barrels he gets from industrial sites and he sells the barrels for $10 each. As I left today I saw him outside and told him I need a new barrel. He said it would be in my driveway when I returned. The promised barrel was there later and I went up and paid the man his $10.
