I'm all for permanent standard time. We've got that in Hawaii and we work it out just fine. For events and work hours that depend on particular lighting, we just adjust. I often work at sunrise and sunset, so I love the extra hour of sleep in the winters. Feels natural to me.

Wasn't this established to help farmers with earlier daylight in the winter? So leave it all on winter hours. I like darkness as early as possible. That's the introvert in me.
I would love it if they stopped this leaping forward fall back crap. As a kid I enjoyed the longer days and when I was working 2nd shift jobs in the printing industry it was great.
Otherwise it is annoying. Then I read this article and it makes real sense to stop doing it.
