Incursion by Ukraine into Russia on election day.
As soon as this election is over, so will be Ukraine under Zelenskyy. There is no Ukranian national interest served by mounting this attack inside Russia.
The Russian people will now insist this gets finished quickly. I do believe it will change from a special military operation for Russians into a war with Ukraine proper ie Zelenskyy will have to start living in bunkers and no more joy flight/ photo ops for vain politicians in Kiev.
