There is an old adage that says "take care of the small stuff & the big stuff will take care of itself".
Sadly today's world seems to concentrate on ignoring the small stuff & mismanaging the big stuff. . . Look at America - a huge misdistribution of eealth, inadequate schooling & health for all, ditto on housing & meaningful employment that benefits all of humanity not just some Americans.
