Fleischman: “No? What the heck do Indians do?”
Ed: “Use the key.”
Fleischman: ”The key?… you have the key to my bedroom?”
Ed: “Well, it works on my house, too. Lots of people have the same key. You don’t have to worry so much about getting locked out.”

I'll have a go at answering my own question: Here are a few possibilities:

  1. Try your key in every lock.

  2. Cultural norms may not be transferable. Don't sweat it.

  3. It doesn't take much to weird out some people. Go for it.

WONderful show!!! I had neighbors in Cle Elum that were a part of that show.
