Nobody believes me when I tell them that the Catholic church has always supported Fascism. During WW2 they supported Hitler, Franco and Mussolini which was covered up by not only the church but western governments after the war's end.

The conduct of the church during the war was shameful. Pope John Paul obliquely acknowledged it. Catholics were well represented among The Righteous though, people who tried to save their Jewish neighbors. Stauffenberg of the plot to kill Hitler was inspired by his catholicism.

The conduct of the church today is no different with this pope telling Ukraine to surrender to Russia which is nothing less than another Nazi empire....
@Lizard_of_Ahaz No, the pope suggested Ukraine should negotiate an end to a pointless war, a perfectly reasonable suggestion.
@Druvius Did you read his exact words?... If the church was not pro-Nazi he would be calling for air defense for Ukraine instead of telling them about the glory of surrender....
@Lizard_of_Ahaz Yes, I did. The war was lost in the first few months, it makes no sense to keep fighting a losing war. It's not benefiting Ukraine in any way. Zellensky's fantasies of reconquering territory that never wanted to be part of Ukraine in the first place are just that.
