I had an exchange in a thrift store years ago with a guy who was going on about a silly comment I made about a "recreational lie" I had told to the clerk (who thought it was funny). In other words, I exaggerated/used hyperbole. The Christian told me that the BIBLE SAID ANY LIE IS A SIN. I told him that I didn't believe in his book so big deal.

In the parking lot, he started yelling at me that I was GOING TO HELL!. Oh, yeah, I was scared. I told him it better to rule in hell than serve in hell (thanks, Milton's Satan).

What did he think I was going to do or say? Fall on my knees and beg for forgiveness?
