Hi, I'm a 61 year old, married, outspoken, lifelong atheist and undaunted survivor of 6 years of catholic school (back in the day), that is fed up with religion being used to inform social policy and felt this would be a good place to find like minds!

I live in Florida, but luckily in Orlando, where there are pockets of rational thinking within the sea of mindless superstition which is much of the south!

I can be checked out on google ( I've led an adventurous life so far and plan to continue!) and my Photography can be seen at "Issues and Icons" on facebook.

Issues and Icons is a Black and White large format film and print fine art project that criticized the connection of superstition to governmental policy in 2004 hoping to be part of averting disaster....it appears by recent events the warning was not effective, so the work now is a giant "I told you so" which was not the intent!
