Sad but true.......
And those who vote republican don't think that they would ever be caught up in the purges and arrests themselves... not realizing that every authoritarian government arrests and purges their own people for not being loyal enough.
@snytiger6 I’m sure that’s what a whole lot of Stalin and Hitler’s friends and supporters thought too. Probably their last thought before they were in front of the firing squad or headed for the work camps.
@Barnie2years Yeah,a lot of conservative like to point out that Hitler was elected on the Socialist ticket, but they neglect the fact that as soon as he was elected he arrested and purged all the socialists from the government... because he wasn't really one of them.
