Not terribly surprising, people got around. The murals depicting daily activities, an archaeological gold mine. Representations of every day activities are unusual in temple and tomb art.

Tarim mummies often have red or blond hair. They are not apparently related to Europeans. This is not academic, but good for quick reference.

Interesting. There's a rock painting in Namibia (some distance from the shore) which seems to depict a woman with very pale skin. This painting was probably done by the KoiSan ancestors...they are definitely not ''pale.'' When you go to Namibia, you should try to see this art....it's intriguing. Who was this woman and how did she arrive there?
