People do stupid things in the name of god. Religion was created to control the masses. Most of the devout Xians need mental help.

Because religion is dangerous and harmful to everyone.

Actually I find it rather ordinary. It's a common sociological phenomenon.

I became a militant atheist and perhaps Anti-Theist because I was tired of seeing rich evil con men, exploiting the ill, the frightened the desperate, the poor and the gullible. Men, seeking to vaingloriously exalt them selves and to build private empires, legitimised thieves stealing goods, service and cash from mortals and the worship and wealth of imaginary gods to make of themselves living idols, false exemplars and counterfeit emperor of a fictitious dominion.
