The power of veto is the problem. Remember the days sanctions and military interventions had to be UN approved first? Then came Clinton and Bosnia. The $USD got weaponised, even against the UN.
The US has done it's best to undermine the law based UN authority and replace it with the Patriot Act enabled US rule world based order.
I think it needs to go and be replaced where ther is no single nation veto. And ffs don't let the US or Europe house the HQ.

I can't see Turkey being swamped with refugees and not doing anything. The Syrians/ Hezbollah could always open up a front on the Golan Heights too.

@Mcfluwster, @puff I've been getting news that a lot of them are fleeing Israel & returning to the countries on their second or third passports. In particular there is a lot of angst in S. Africa where Jumbo jet loads of economy fares are arriving. Jews in Capetown are wanting to seccede from S. Africa & form their own Capetown country run on Racist apartheid rules. . .
