Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I remember when this guy, Marjoe Goertner (ostensibly named for Mary and Joseph) was all over the talk show circuit. He enjoyed his fifteen minutes of fame and then sort of disappeared from public view. He was very charismatic and had a real presence on camera. Here are a couple of links to Wikipedia:

He did some acting (he'd been acting all along, pretending to be a preacher), and retired in 2010, now living in Long Beach, CA.

I was kind of wondering what happened to him. After the documentary, he couldn't exactly go in making a living via religion. I thought whle watching the documentary that he woudl probably do wwell as an actor.
