How prevalent, in your opinion, is Racism in the Agnostic, Atheist community? Im well aware of the Racist History among the religions, but where does the history stand among nonreligious communities? One Love

Racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc, I'm sure they all exist to some degree among non-believers but with the absence of religious texts that promote these forms of bigotry and hatred, I can't think of reaches near the height that it does among believers.

Personally, I don't think there's a correlation.
Whether or not you're a racist is not based on your religion (or lack of). But if your religion is Trumpetism, then you're probably a f@#$%^ racist.

I havent met anybody ever apart from my truly mad mother who was racist, I have heard some derogatory whispered stuff on buses but don't think it was loud enough to cause embarrassment and don't imagine the perps were agnostic. I remember a little boy in a series called 7-Up that tracked the lives of young children and one of them was asked about coloured people and he said 'thats silly like people are yellow with purple spots!'

Of most non-theists I've interacted with, they tend to have a strong ethical basis that values each person individually. So, in mainline non-theist communities today, there does not seem to be much racism.

However, it is conceivable (though I don't know how accurate) that a person could lack any belief in a god and also think ill of others purely on the basis of some invariant, fairly superficial difference between them. Non-belief in a deity and valuing people equally are not necessarily linked. Thus, I personally would have to take it on a case-by-case basis whether someone being a non-believer has anything to do with them doing something against an individual of a different race.

As far as racist organizations goes, I'm not specifically aware of any that are overtly atheist, while plenty have overtly "Christian" rhetoric. Again, it could happen, but most nontheist communities I'm aware of are decidedly against racism.
