That’s lovely! (I’m my dad’s favorite daughter, so I totally get that?)
My relationship with my daughter was complicated for years, after severe interference from/by my narcissistic mother(before I learned the value of No Contact!).
I kept trying with her though, always. The Mother’s Day when she turned 30, she wrote me a letter, telling me(& thanking me) what she had learned from me, the values I gave her, the parts of her that came from me...it restored so much that I had feared was lost. I cried like a , and still do whenever I read it.
Daughters are precious .
@germangirl90439 I understand. My mother was abusive to me one last time on her literal deathbed. It’s still hard to deal with, no matter how sick we know they are. Tapping and EMDR helped, once she was gone.
I wish you healing
Awesome. Wish I had a relationship w my mom like that. My daughter did dishes-loaded dishwasher for Mothers Day-22. My 35 year old disabled daughter made me a card by hand and mailedit.
