ORGANS DONATION

Shouldn't be mandatory that upon his / her death a person's organs be donated to save lives?
I believe no to donate the organs is selfish and "promotes" kidnapping and all kinds of crimes related to this issue.

Mexico is known for bodies showing up everywhere and when they open them to perform an autopsy the Coroners find the corpses have not one organ inside

And I agree...BUT....once again, religion raises its ridiculous objections ("sincerely held," no doubt) that one's body must be intact after death. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone donated corneas, skin, internal organs, etc? It's not just Xtians who object...several Asian religions object, too.

Well, no everybody's organs would be accepted since medicine damage them but many would. Yes, religions have promoted ignorance to such level that relatives rather let the worms eat the organs than to save a life

@DUCHESSA Yes, obviously, some donors wouldn't be acceptable. I know that.

Making it mandatory would not end the homicides for organs it would just take place closer to the hospital. It could actually create more crime because all the organs would then be valuable for sale so no I do not think it should be mandatory. Also research is showing the recipients are experiencing "memory transfer" from the organ donors. [listverse.com]

Who said the organs would be sold? Besides, as far as I know no kidney has a brain. Anyway, everything is possible in Wisconsin.

@DUCHESSA Anytime there is a need for something that can be obtained it creates a market, not a legal one but if it were mandatory to donate them then every organ would then be a viable option so the killing for organs would not end by making it mandatory to donate them. Not sure what your response is supposed to mean though. "No kidney has a brain"??? Attacking Wisconsin just tells me you have no defense for your argument so you are making it personal instead. Not very mature or intelligent of you at all. If you have a good debate then by all means let's here it but making it personal because I disagreed with you is not a good reflection of your knowledge on the subject YOU brought up.

@CreativelyMe I disagree...........but, then, that's what debating is all about. No?

Do you actually think the hospitals will accept "organs brought in" by the next door neighbor?
