Recently upon turning 40 it became clear that the people around me did not think about things that Interested me. No wondering, or desire to seek out the truth. Most people don't form opinions based on factual evidence. They base opinions on emotions. This was how I differ
In my experience most people are as good as dead by the time they hit 30 and are just putting in time until they are physically dead. Life becomes a series of routines that lack any sense of wonder for them. Kids keep them occupied until they leave the nest and then maybe a little spark when grandkids show up, then it's time for a dirt nap.
Not how I have lived my life but it seems to be very common.
