I'm more impressed by a person's intellect, how they speak and where they are going in life. I feel that if they are too dogmatic then you don't need my company.

I am 100% personality driven. I crave similar humour and intellect. If you arent a lil pervy and a lil witty, not impressed.

First impressions are at the gut level and instanaeous and mysterious too. I don't know what causes them. I react to people instinctively.

I learned most of what was truly important from my father in that material, possessions, ownership, Madison Avenue BS ... doesn’t contribute to character. I discovered character was made of honesty, integrity, compassion, my belief in myself and caring for others .... for 37 years I worked on service to the well being of others. I can look in the mirror each morning and know I’ve done may best.

Intelligence and kindness in equal parts. It's rare to witness true intelligence that doesn't come with arrogance or condescension.

I'm sometimes impressed by the amount of money someone has.
Especially if the money was acquired in a most unusual way. I like to hear the stories behind it.

Empathy, especially towards animals, children and the elderly. respect for all things. honor and loyalty . . .

A great smile, kindness, and intelligence.

I have a friend who always talked about money and real estate. He was always trying to impress others with his knowledge about finances. One day I told him that his financial knowledge did not impress me. However, "the fact that you are a single parent and raised your son without any help from his mother is impressive." And he lived in a rough neighborhood.

Honesty, integrity, trust/trustworthy, kindness, patience, an encouraging manner. The ability to make the world a little brighter with a smile and a little humor or more substantively when able to be generous in other ways.

I’m most impressed by the way someone will listen to another person. A child, a stranger, a song or a movie. Everyone has a story to tell, and listening to them is the best education a person can get.

I am impressed by friendliness, kindness, good conversation.

.......and then again, I keep being asked why I am Nobody. It has been an interesting experiment of mine, gotta admit !!!!

The usual: kindness, respect, honest, hard working, honest and on and on. My add is that I especially respect those who seek the right answer, rather than seeking to be right. It is a rare mindset and leads to better outcomes.
