Leonard Cohen - do you think he is a god?
I do, but I know a lot of people who either don't know him at all or their response is "meh".

If you don't groove on the Cohen, that is cool.
Me, I love him as a writer and artist.
But you sure as shit will not get the party started with Leonard Cohen, that I know.
No Doubt! Right next to Jerry Garcia and Greg Brown.
Cohen didn't give many interviews during his life but he did one right near the end and it's amazing. I can't remember who the interviewer was but it's worth looking for.

Do I think he is a God? no. I don't even think God is a God, which is why I am on this page. I do feel he is one of the finest songwriters of the 20th century.

I ain't making him celestial, don't get me wrong. But Cohen is and remains influential.
As I understand it, he wrote "Hallelujah" deliberately so it would be covered by other people.
He IS a god, for sure.
