It's a set-up for disappointment. There's always going to be someone better than you -- and also some one not better than you who wishes they were. Only person you have to feel better about is yourself, even when you don't feel so great.

Jealous people need to watch videos of people sick and starving third world countries, to learn appreciation for what they have. There is nothing wrong with desiring a better life and working to make one's life better, but jealousy will tend to undermine any efforts you make in that direction.
