Well, I know about the hole of depression, which personally would call numbness. While there for three years, although working and functioning, deep sleep or sleep at least, came accompanied with the strangest of juxtaposed dreams. So now that I've broken the surface and emerged from those watery depths I just want to swim ... on the water and never return ..

Awww come on. Pack your bags and go see the world out there. Remember.... its all a journey. So go make a memory. Look up adult camping. Its all over the place. Talk about meeting some people!

Some people have neither the time, money, nor freedom from obligations to run away on little adventures.

I did hear a story a few years back about a man who was contemplating suicide and, instead, cashed out his life savings and got on a plane. He spent a couple weeks in Brazil doing drugs and having sex with prostitutes. Afterwards, he no longer felt like killing himself. I always thought that was a beautiful story

@ghost_warlock life has meaning now...lol.

@BucketlistBob Can anyone say that they've truly lived until they've done a line of cocaine out of a prostitute's ass crack in Rio de Janeiro? 😉

@ghost_warlock true definition of an all nighter... come close to that in Thailand.

Very appealing. Maybe that's how I'll end my days, on the ocean floor. You make it seem very calm and gentle. I'm not ready to go just yet, though. Thank you.

I see someone asleep on a sandy ocean bottom, makes me feel like I am scuba diving.

Never been there !

That’s what it feels like, only darker. I always feel poised on an abyss of darkness or that a black cloud is above me.
