It seems to me to be difficult to find female atheists around my age (I'm eighteen). They are out there (obviously) but why I don't come across them more often I can't say.

age doesn't mean much to me, since the most rewarding relationships i have experienced myself were actually the ones where my partner would be either much older - up to 17 years - or between 3 & 14 years younger.

Wait a few more years. They need to get away from their religious parents maybe by going off to college or something... the freedom will most likely open their eyes to realizing it's okay to be atheist or agnostic.

I am in my early 20's and I am an atheist.... I'm open about it with my friends but I don't share this with most of my family, or strangers because its such a polarizing thing to say. I prefer to let people know my personality and character first before I throw out the scary A word and get labeled things Im not.
