Regarding dating sites, I don't look at women's profiles, so I'm curious about something.
I'm pretty much done with that whole scene, but I haven't completely deleted my own profile. In the last 2 days, I've rec'd notification :
Foreverhard88 wants to meet you
Iva Biggun wants to meet you.
It makes for good laughs with friends.
I'm not a prude. I'm not against friends with benefits or hooking up. Been there, done that. I've simply found secure happiness in myself and am no longer interested in that type of relationship.
So the question is - do woman have usernames like this?
I'd like to hear a few.

That does seem to be a stumbling block.....how much of your true self do you reveal in a profile or bio? Some people tend to be very private and only reveal things about themselves as time goes on and comfort levels are reached. And - yes - it is way to easy to compile something that makes you sound like absolute perfection. The hardest thing is trying to figure out whether somebody is being serious, snarky, funny....?????? Without being able to hear the tone of their voice and the look on their face - it becomes much harder to discern.

I am new to this way of trying to meet someone. Hell I am new to dating. i was married 30 years and got divorced almost 4 years ago. I haven't tried to date since the early 80's. I rarely look at anyones profile because it only tells me what they would want me to know about them. I'm not even sure what I put in mine but I am sure it was nothing revealing to publicly post. I am certainly not a prude either, though any body with a sketchy user name does not require my attention for it is just a waste of both our time.

Or when they have 69 in their name.

@gloriadeb to me it just says they only want sex and aren’t interested in an actual relationship.

When viewing the dating websites( very many) I look at the Womens pictures, profiles and then the distance from where I'm at to her location,a possible one way trip of more than 2 hours is for me a no go for me,yes, limiting the possibilities perhaps, but logical, in wear and tear on my car,and there's always the chance of no "Chemistry" either.

Almost all women profiles have similar semantics: Like to travel, or no games, or honesty is important, like Harleys (kinda surprising), or country girl, or sense of humor, or my favorite, he must have a job. Not complaining, I guess that's what most women want. What do I want to hear? "Friday night, going downtown for shenanigans, bring your own bail money, must wear pants." Something like that.

OK, I had seen a couple I can't remember, one was like "Relationshipnotrequired" and I just found one "coolfunandnipples" so there are some.

Beware the "Scammers",they feed you a line, promises, hoping to set the hook and then the requests come in for gift card, presents(not seen yet) loans(I'll you back, trust me)
and of course the inheritance, or has Gold put aside, and it will be your's when we marry.

Most(if not all) dating sites are bottomless pits you throw your into and hope.

throw your what?

@CallMeDave Money,I got ahead of myself ans posted before reading it throughly and my Glaucoma acts up sometimes too.

@Louise1920 I see. I only used the free sites.
