As always, when there is a mass shooting in America, Republicans go out of their way to blame everything except guns. And last week’s mass murder (that left eight students and two teachers dead at a Texas high school) was no exception. But this may be a first: a Republican senator seems to be blaming … the victims?
*Oh, well, okay then. The killer’s dad—who, by the way, owned the unsecured guns used in the mass murder—doesn’t blame his son. Sounds legit enough for John Cornyn to run with it. Because it’s never, ever, ever the gun’s fault.

Ronnie Regan help to start this era when he became governor of California when he closed 14 of the state Mental hospitals, to cut costs!
This started the great republican revolution to dump all societal mental health problems on the local level to be solved!~
The patients were then dumbed out on the streets of America!
These individuals were then dump on the local authorities to handle, hence the over load of these problem type of individuals were handed over to local governments who are overtly Ill equipped to handle and with no funding to handle any of this burdens were left both emotionally and financially strapped!
In the present day since there is no form of Mental health capabilities except to incarcerate and imprison them for modest crimes to protect the society as a whole!
Now if you do not have insurance or the funds for any form of counseling or support you can be dropped between the cracks, hence never seen or diagnosed properly or in any way as a trouble or potentially dangerous individual!
We spent too much money and time on police and security instead of any type of Prevention!
