To all My Fellow Veterans. On this Memorial Day Weekend be mindful of all the Rethugligans who have made it their utmost concern to make sure that all who served get not what they deserve. The Viet Nam era was not as bad because it was still a draft and so we had plenty to talk about and heal ourselves even when they were spit on. PTSD is something that is brought on by a horrific experience and being kept in a combat zone for an extended periodsl This is the utmost concern and trade mark of the GOP who never served to include our 'Celebrity Clown in Chief.'
Whenever I am in DC I always make it to the Wall to pay my respect to those who lost it all for nothing. We are losing more everyday to suicide which should never let happen but yet they just don't understand because they never served.

The American military system is psychopathically brutal, and by extension, so too is the American government. This toxic system has been proven to create serial killers who in turn create more victims.

The hero and flags narrative is also a gigantic lie.

Damaged military personnel have been abandoned by their country, because to the ruling class they mean little more than disposable human fodder whose only purpose is to realise their imperialist goals.

The US military is also one of the world's greatest polluters. All in all it is an inhuman force for bad.

As easy as it is to point out the hypocrisy of warhawks who dodged the draft, I can’t bring myself to shame someone for avoiding a war zone. Especially since the Vietnam War (like every war after and most before) was started on lies.

I'm going to actively avoid anything that Dodgy McBoneSpurs engages in meant to "honor" veterans this weekend. Or any other republican.

Semper Fi, lets not forget it was the Republican party the ended the Draft and every year the Democratic party presents a new Bill trying to bring it back. None of it is important though helping out and having respect for the people that serve is important. Espeacially the Brothers that served in Nam. People forget most of them didn't choose to go they where Drafted and stepped up and did what they had to. Then they came home to people spitting on them and calling them baby killers (not pointing fingers, but that was the liberals). What those Vet's needed was someone to step up give them a hug and let them know it wasn't their fault. Enjoy Memorial day, burn some hot dogs on the grill, eat some apple pie and respect the men and women that stepped up to the plate and did their job. @Nevermind, Thank you for your service,

I believe anyone who served on the line in a combat zone has at least a touch of PTSD. Being under arms changes you. It's is inevitable that it will eventually manifest in some manner.
