I was not bullied and I did not bullied others but I always felt enraged strongly when its happend around me. Yes I was felt that needs of phisical reaction towards bullies (punch them in the face) but sometimes felt that, what if you are in the position to have enough power over the bullies and give a taste of their own medicine? This makes me think, I am a bullie as them if I do it? Can we apply rightfully theeye for an eye`methode in those cases?

Nobody sees himself as the bad guy, not even the evil one. Adolph Hitler and those who supported him felt they were doing God's work. Somehow, a great many Americans find justice in deporting a teen who has been raised here as an American but brought as in infant without papers. We don't see injustice in ourselves or in our like minded cohorts. When we do feel vague discomfort, when there is cognitive dissonance, we find justification for our actions. There are those without empathy who Bible-thump Ayn Rand to prove to themselves that they are "in the right".

The reality is the opposite. Most humans are not selfish, which explains why the human race has survived the way it has. This is often witnessed after a natural disaster. People pull together for the greater good.

It's also a fact the poorest usually donate the most to charity. I'd say those who label humanity 'selfish' are the selfish ones.

I have a neighbor who has a sign in their window:

I often reflect that this sign will mean entirely different things to different people. To a conservative, "justice" is punishment of evildoers (effectively, penalizing people who don't agree with you). To a liberal, "justice" is fairness. To a conservative, love is tough love; to a liberal it is kum-by-yah. So a conservative and a liberal would have entirely different mental images conjoured by this slogan. One would see a public flogging, the other an egalitarian society in which everyone is treated well.

To avoid this sort of hilarity, one needs to define terms and use them with precision.

Even your couching this in terms of INjustice rather than justice -- in abreacting to the absence of justice rather than seeking it in the first place -- frames the discussion in a certain way.

Yes the Selfish Gene.. human nature. IMO a good definition of a human being is a person who is able to override and control their baser natural instincts...such as rage..lust..temptation..violence etc

Infants apparently have a sense of fairness and shrink from those that do not demonstrate it. Primates have "Rules General" for behavior. That a sense of reciprocity or fairness comes with the monkey suit is pretty clear, Judging my the number of persons that believe or wish to believe in Cosmic Accountancy (Karma).

Justice has alot to do with one's own morals.Selfeshiness sometimes has to do with survival.Ask the Dahmer party.Its a grey area to me.

Injustice is a motivating force IF (1) person is NOT a sociopath, (2) racism or ethnocentrism is NOT a basic part of the person's personality and surrounding culture.

Anything anyone ever does is selfish on some level.
