Saw the new Star Wars Solo movie today. I liked it. That's all you get. No spoilers ?
I got to see an advance screening of it and was very happy with it. I wasn’t sure about the guy they had for Solo, but he did very well with it. Donald Glover was absolutely perfect!
@WadeWilson and a little teaser at the end for a future Star Wars installment...
@WadeWilson that is not the installment I was looking for...
@WadeWilson I was referring to [REDACTED]
@WadeWilson oops...problem handled...
Saw the film. Sort-of liked it on its own merits. Yes, it lacks the "Star Wars" feel. Expected something better from Ron Howard, but I know he was brought in to "fix it" and can't be held 100% responsible. Hopefully, I'll like it better when I see it again.
My thoughts as well. Just seemed to be lacking something, but still entertaining.
I rather visit mass on sunday than watching another disney star wars.
Whoa! That's a bit extreme, isn't it? Rinse your mouth with communion wine, you heathen
@pixiedust I rather swallow a waffer with the body of christ than being captive by the force of another disney starwars. Truth is Extreme because is Reality.
@GipsyOfNewSpain LOL. I have to admit at the end of the previous SW movie, I was sad they hadn't killed off the entire rebel alliance.
All I'll say is that I really hope, someday, we'll get a movie starring both Dong Lover and Chrisp Ratt. That doesn't seem like too unreasonable of a request
I fear that Disney will suck every drop of life out of this franchise until it's barren and lifeless, like they did with those silly Johnny Deb pirate movies. It's what they do. They start off ok, and then they wring it dry. I predicted it when Disney bought the rights. I further predict that they will reduce SW to family mush in the future. It's in their DNA.
Yes. Way too many pirate movies. Ugh. story lines.
I saw "Book Club" today. I liked it. That's all you get. No spoilers. ???
That is a movie I want to see.
Thanks for the no spoilers!! Cool that it's good
