Was going to wait until June 1st, since that is the official start of Hurricane Season, but since Alberto has decided to show up early (and I'm watching 300), here we go!

River across the street. Went to friends then to shelter. Thanks to the county for providing the shelters but next storm through here I'm staying home. After returning home had no electric for days and flooded bathroom (the only flooding) from leaking toilet landlord failed to have fixed. I'd rather sleep in my own bed. My little inconveniences were nothing compared to what others had to endure.

Thanks for the reminder, after Irma last year I need to get a little bit more prepared.

Yeah, Irma was a real bitch and a half!

@KKGator I sat thru Irma at a non-denominational Xtian church. They didn't advertise it as a shelter as it was only for members and friends of members, but real reason was because it was for pets! The cats had to be in cages but dogs were free if on a leash. All in all it was nice of them to offer that scenario. My dog had a blast and power was only out for about 12 hours. Oh, also there birds, hamsters and turtles. Only one prayer service after Irma passed. LOL!
