I'll always have a soft spot for the Great Auk. Has been a favorite of mine since working towards my art degree back in 97-01.
I was heavily inspired by cave paintings and primitivist art. A cave painting of the Great Auk inspired me to make a suitably crude sculpture of a "three-legged Auk"
