I used to be a kind of 'fan' in my youth. Over time I came to realise he was a common or garden misogynist, which I can spot in his lyrics and videos. I'm guessing he was a narcissist too by the way he treated other people.

He was talented and overrated. 'Mountains' is my favourite song - that he performs, but I think his best song by far is 'Nothing Compares 2 U' performed by Sinead O'Connor, which is a great song.

To me, he's one of the most physically beautiful men I can think of and unfortunately this is what I remember him for most.

I sing Little Red Corvette at karaoke occasionally, pretty funny for a gal to sing it, a real crowd pleaser.

Many! My favorite performance vid of one of his songs is the acoustic version of cream though. He throws so much shade on the audience for singing the backup part out of key and reveals that he wrote this love song to himself to sing in the mirror ? classic prince

Never liked his music or his persona. I did liked his choice of women but I wonder if there was a "me too" issue there and his passing spared him. I do not hate the guy, I let my wife go see him in concert when I was living in Spain. But when I was living in Germany, there was a "I am rich and famous" moment. There was this nice upscale night club next to a park in Stuttgart and after his concert he decided to have his after concert party there, no previous arrangement. He wanted all customers kicked out so "his people" could go in. Well that was Germany.... he was put in his place with a good, warm "Go Fick Yourself". The Loyal Customers were more important to the club owner than the americanis dude. But those who enjoy his music go ahead, he was a superstar, just simply not my type.
