Well, I have good news... I have had a couple of exciting days with my personal physiology. WOW. Been going to the gym fairly regularly and also been working through the usual wear and tear plus my share of injuries... ANYWAY. Sat PM I went out dancing, not a phenomena in itself yet noticed I was not very stiff on Sunday. GREAT. (I dance up a storm--> only way I know how~). Monday, I am at the gym on the treadmill and get this bouncy feeling; so I go with it. I am now apparently able to RUN some for the first time in about 30 years. WOW, am I happy-- I love to run!

Am not going to overdue it, but today the same thing happens, I did a light run about half of my 15 ms on the Treadmill plus walked super fast-- which I usually do.

Thing is, I am CHI RUNNING. Something I read about years ago. MY CORE is stronger now, so I can concentrate on putting the impact in other areas than my knees. I love this!

This photo is 4 yrs. old. I was pretty fit then but could NOT run, YA!

Congratulations, Lady! Great job!
Ty for sharing and the encouragement!

Amazing. The world has discovered what "primitive" men already do instinctively. Have you ever watched a Masai moran running for mile after mile? They never "jar" their bodies, but use their calf muscles to create a spring instead. They never splay their feet. They aren't the only ones, but they are the ones I know best. The advent of shoes and "civilisation" caused a deterioration in gait.

Some things to research, Petter. Ty.

This is what I'd call a truly inspiring testimony! We should all follow suit and give it a go. Fill the world with healthy sceptics.

I'm glad you are staying fit, wish I could run but my knees and hips are too far gone. I still walk a mile or so a day, but even that causes a lot of pain.

Dave, don't know how much it will help you (yet it shouldn't hurt)
I've been using glucosamine, twice a day, 500 mg, and (for me, gluten free) toast, with a little honey, and as much cinnamon as I can handle. It's a great antiinflammatory!

  • (Tumeric is also good, but tumeric can interact with certain medicines, be cautious!.
