Well, well, well, it appears our illustrious prez is going ahead with his insane tariffs on the EU, Mexico, and Canada. This does not bode well for those who live in the US and making median wage or less.

At present the EU is only considering "targeted" tariffs, such as on Californian orange juice, but if it ever got to technology, then companies like Apple, Amazon, Google and their ilk will be etremely worried. There are many European countries that could take over. Did you know that the company that sells the most microprocessor designs in the world is not intel or AMD. It is British and their processors are in almost every mobile phone. The company is Acorn Research Machines, or ARM.

I suspect that will change soon. Um, why not Floridian orange juice? They are closer to the market and I would guess are probably the main supplier. On the other hand, such a move might just be the impetus California needs to secede from the Union.

I wonder how it will help him

Conceivably through stock manipulations.

He has no idea what he's doing, and he won't let anybody talk sense into him, either.

He is a moron and started an idiotic and chaotic trade war. Prices are going up on everything because of this POS.

I certainly hope that the larger part of his voting base are happy with their 401K performance over the last few weeks, starting with the 'tax break' he gave to them.

@Renickulous -- That's not what is happening. Other things he is doing are affecting the stock market negatively and the 401Ks are based on investment performance. As for the tax reduction itself, it will be of little to no use for those with median and lower incomes. Hopefully things will level out over the long haul, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

@Renickulous -- Sending mixed signals has never done anything good for the stock market. The man needs to learn to keep his mouth shut and somebody has to confiscate his cell phone soon.
