Does anybody else have a coffee in bed routine? I'm the morning person in our marriage, up at dawn and made the coffee before my wife even begins to stir. It's always been a thing that I bring her coffee in bed and then leave her alone for an hour or so while she wakes up and I get on with my day. The way to a man's heart may be through his stomach but I think a woman's heart can be reached through coffee in bed.

You are very kind to say so. I think it was my sister who suggested this to me many years ago when I was just a teenager. My sister is not a morning person so I used to bring her a coffee because I was usually up before 6 am and cheerful, she could have been an extra on the Walking Dead until 9 am. I've done it ever since and yes, I have never had a partner who didn't appreciate getting their morning cup of java in bed as soon as I heard them start to stir.
