Just had a typical scammer try and get by me. I reported it. Some signs to watch for bad English conflicting places of living. The one I just reported. The profile said they believe 100% in God not saying that is unusual it is odd for them to be looking to date on this site. Also she had included her text number with her user name typical scammer ploy.

Through online dating, I have been approached by 34 Nigerian scammers. They steal photos from modeling websites and profiles from dating websites.

If a person looks too beautiful, use Google Image Search. Their photos show up on scam-busting websites.

Scammers are laughably easy to spot:

  1. Poor command of the English language. Rarely capitalize the letter 'i."
  2. Same sob story: Wife died in a fiery car crash, or ran off with his best friend.
  3. Professes immediate undying love for me (based on my pictures?)
  4. Calls me an "angel fallen from heaven."
  5. Pressures me to immediately switch to Yahoo instant messaging.
  6. Claims to be an American citizen who was born in Europe.
  7. Works as a engineer or missionary in the West Africa oil fields.
  8. Says he lives in a large city near you (in my case, Seattle).
  9. Keeps up the romantic pressure until SURPRISE! Coming home to be in your arms, he was robbed in the train station/bus station/ airport and needs your to immediately send him $5,000 so he can return home to you.
  10. Keeps up the romantic pressure until you run out of money.

None got a penny out of me. I reported and blocked them.

Scammers pop up again like daisies with a new username.

Hey I think I know who you are talking about the want to talk on Google hangout and send photos of porno stars with their clothing on. The ones I know seem to be relocated to Ghana. LOL

There is a little scammer in each one of us.

Nope I can out right manipulate people. I just choose not to, well most of the time anyway.
