I really laughed. The proposal that the devil placed dinosaur bones in the ground to fool man was in a pamphlet given to me at my church when I was a teen and it smacked me in the head as the most ridiculous thing, and how could I be involved with people who believe this?

Went to see Wim Wender's documentary on Pope Francis. Francis does not believe in the biblical story of how earth was created. He called it a myth.Francis is a huge proponent of science. I found that interesting and hopeful.

@Stevil I agree. A lot of the bishops and older Catholics are furious with him as he accepts LGBT people and is an advocate for women's rights. Oh and doesn't think there is a hell.
I wish these mind bogglingly ancient fossils didn't end up in private hands.
