@btroje Yes, I was thinking that maybe all of the skin peeled off. One way to get rid of freckles.

Summer time and a cooling tower took the paint off my truck and cracked my dashboard ...

That's awful. How on earth did that happen?

@pixiedust when i was working our parking was next to a cooling tower. The chemicals in the cooling water would be ejected out and fall on all the vehicles. The summer sun shining in my dashboard caused it to crack and crumble.

@BucketlistBob I would never have anticipated anything like that.
