I was always "Daddys Girl" spending Saturdays with him - going to breakfast and the bakery with him-talking on his short wave radio in his car-till I hit adolescence. Then everything changed-my dad and mom drank a lot-social drinkers they claimed and both got physically and mentally abusive that I ran away to live in Boston/Dorchester with friends.

I forgave them years ago-did an Inner Child class. Try to find good memories.
My father bailed when I was about 5, saw him a few time since. Today idk if he’s dead or alive. Don’t much care.
