I wish the "hovering" would not be reported in our "visitor" log. Most I figure are accidental, since I accidentally cause my cursor to land where mini-bios pop up and stay there until I move my cursor away to some blank space.
I used to enjoy seeing who "visited" my profile, but most of just "hovered" and I'm not interested in seeing that. I don't want all my accidental hovers being shown on others visitor log, so I opted not to let people know I "visited" which is a shame, as I like transparency, but I'm not interested in having all my accidental popups from moving my cursor reported as well.
Visited is when you have a look at someone's profile. Hovered is when you accidentally leave the cursor hanging on their name for a second.

Thanks, I already know the standard dictionary meanings of the words. I'm looking for what they mean in the context of this site. I realize I should have been more clear in my original question.
