How long has it been since the United States actually produced anything of value? We make Big Macs and mediocre cars now. We're the land of Super Wal-Mart and McDonald's, so you can't blame our allies for laughing in our faces at the thought of the US slapping new tariffs on international trade. It's like a kid who refuses to do their chores walking up and demanding that their parents give them a raise on their allowance.

The US military props up the Petrodollar and as long as it can continue to do so then the music will keep playing and the game of musical chairs will not be over. Just be prepared when the music stops or you won't have a seat.

What the article conveniently leaves out is that Canada didn't vote to take action for more than a month after the World Trade Organization ruled that the Steel and Aluminum Tariffs imposed by Trump a few months back were illegal and therefore authorized Canada to level counter tariffs legally. These are counter trade tariffs being leveled by Canada after Trump illegally raised tariffs on Canada.
