this looks like it is in a lab. I think in the wild the clusters are huge and the mother hovers over that cluster like a tent until they hatch and then she dies. I am not sure if that is particular to one type of octopus

I don't think it's a lab but I do know it's at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center.

Yeah, but isn't it interesting how they are attached together before emerging? I never knew.
