Honestly I don't think about pornography. I don't watch it, it never crosses my mind. I don't have mates I hang out with who watch it either. It just isn't a factor. I'm not against, each to their own, providing the production hasn't lead to the exploitation of someone.

Hmmm I wonder if those same people watching the world poker tour would think that they too can win millions and be disappointed when they go play.

Pornography is hilarious because So divorced from what really works for both partners, but deeply harmful for the same reason.

I need your definition of pornography before I can respond. The definition needs to be specific as I know some consider a picture of a topless woman to be pornographic.

I think it can certainly alter one's perception of real life. I think that can be particularly harmful if you're a young person. I've recently started seeking out more of the amateur stuff so I can be reminded that real women have a belly, stretch marks, and giggly thighs.

I personally believe pornography can be addictive and that if abused can resemble the pattern of “I need a higher dose to get the same high” effect. Just like some addicts need to increase the amount of drug consumed to obtain the same high, people addicted to pornography need to increase consumption or watch more graphic or extreme scenes to reach the same sexual excitement.

Not sure if there’s a sweet spot of consumption that’s healthy or if it should be avoided altogether though.

Mine is not a moral stance. I don’t think it’s a moral question. It’s more related to heathy relationships and personal health.
