The list is endless. Perhaps that's why I am choosing to remain single.
The biggest one is if they spend an inordinate amount of time bitching about their ex.

Mentioning the mistake can over time become like an interjection - "god","jc" or even a punctuation or nervous pause to think of further subject matter.

Body odor

Male companion

Evidence of intravenous drug use....I.e., track marks

If your date shows up with a guy, bad day. @witchymom

Hmmmm frankly I’d rather have you alone. @witchymom

@Gatovicolo LMAO.
@witchymom - 3some? ... 2F1M sounds interesting, 2M1F I prefer one on one and toys 🙂

Pulls phone out to place on table, face up or down, bad. Only if a family member is sick or expecting a biz call is this okay with me.
Also doesn’t even remotely offer to pay or split the bill

  1. Talking poorly about others (whether I know them or not)/ general negativity.
  2. Treating waitstaff poorly / air of superiority
  3. Poor conversationalist (no back-and-forth ebb and flow to the evening).

I can forgive most other things, (and I can 'forgive' these; I just won't ask them out again) but these are, in my humble opinion, signs of deeper issues with a person.

Sometimes flags don't show on the first date. I remember after leaving the hotel... she said she don't do "dinners". But I worked around that and we still in touch. Not telling me she is married is an uncomfortable matter to me. I don't like to eat in another man's plate, out of respect for manhood. Trying to pick up a fight with every woman that knows me... that's a deal breaker.

If most of the stated red flags had been questioned prior to dating why go on the date?

1

If I were dating.

  1. A person who doesn’t want or like kids.
  2. A person who doesn’t like or have any interest in art or theater.
  3. A person who has no interest in travel.

@witchymom it is not the travelling that is important but the travelling companion and people met on the journey that enhance the scenery.

@witchymom The idea behind travel and its importance, really tells me if they are interested in learning about something new. the idea of gaining new knowledge is critical for me

@witchymom you are correct. Travelling through most cities is a pain in the head no matter who is travelling with you ... unless you are on a rail car with a satisfying clickety click, clickety click to lull you to sleep in which case you are sleeping not travelling. 🙂🙂🙂

@witchymom please help me understand how being stuck in a 3 hour traffic jam on your own is lovable?
