In Québec before the 1960's, priest, not doctors, were the ones guilt forcing/coercing women to have children and many mother died during delivery. Today, Québec is a very secular society because of the church's abuse.

All too common. So many people,including Dr.s think they "know best". Having to wait for this or that life event because you "may regret it" is such bullshit. Being shamed for caring about your own health and well being by your doctor is wrong on so many levels.
