It seems counterintuitive that Christian people are seeking companionship by using dating sites that are not advertised as Christian. For me it would make more sense to look for your prayers to be answered at your local church. After all, the Jesus character did state, emphatically, that whatsoever a believer asks for they shall receive. But as a person, who was once a Christian, I can testify that deep down many Christians really, in their heart of hearts, don't believe. What has been your experience as a former believer or just an observer?

Yeah, I agree. I think most people just go along with religion as a default, to agree with family and friends, and only obey the rules they must, to look good, and avoid hell, in case it exists.

They are allowed to have affairs with porn actresses now. Not nearly as restrictive as Jesus made it sound.

Oh! I think they believe...like in fairytales! Even I, back in the day (of indoctrination), tried to pray harder, more disciplined, I tried to get my self into an altered state of consciousness...if I could just get the formula right,...what I wanted would materialize! I can't remember a single thing that came out of that mindset! ...I do remember a lot of PINING!

Something doesn't have to be officially Christian in order for Christians to partake in it. And I'd imagine that the majority of people on dating networks consider themselves Christian. And I think the majority of Christians do believe, but have moments of doubt in their faith constantly. I was brought up Catholic. It was a very beautiful thing while it lasted
